Senior ERP Software Engineer (IBM i / AS400) – Remote

About the role

FullStackFullStack is looking for a Senior ERP Software Engineer with deep experience in IBM i / AS400 environments. You will join a U.S. client’s development team on a remote, project‑based basis, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to maintain and modernize their ERP solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate into the client’s agile team and contribute to daily development tasks.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot RPG (III, IV, ILE) and CL codebases.
• Write and optimise DB2 for i queries, stored procedures, and data‑migration scripts.
• Support ERP modernization initiatives, including migration to newer platforms.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as an ERP Software Engineer.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with IBM i / AS400, RPG, CL, and DB2 for i.
• Familiarity with Java‑based ERP or enterprise Java applications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
