Senior ERP Software Engineer (IBM i / AS400) – Remote

About the role

FullStackFullStack is looking for a Senior ERP Software Engineer to join its talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on ERP projects that run on IBM i / AS400 platforms. You will become an integral part of the client’s development team, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to maintain and modernize critical business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate into the client’s existing development team and contribute to daily engineering tasks.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance legacy RPG and CL codebases.
• Develop new functionality using RPG III, RPG IV, or ILE RPG and CL scripting.
• Write and optimise DB2 for i queries, stored procedures, and data‑migration scripts.
• Support ERP modernization or migration initiatives, including Java‑based components.
• Implement and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines for ERP applications.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate on sprint planning.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience as an ERP Software Engineer.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Strong hands‑on experience with IBM i / AS400 environments.
• Proven ability to work 40 hours per week remotely and take ownership of deliverables.
