Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Growth Products

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the Growth Products team of a leading global news organization. You will build, iterate and optimise high-traffic digital applications that drive user onboarding, checkout, registration and donation funnels.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and scale registration workflows, secure checkout systems and friction‑free donation architectures for web and mobile.
• Develop personalised onboarding experiences and automated marketing messaging to increase reader activation and conversion.
• Plan, implement and programmatically deploy A/B and multivariate experiments to identify performance drivers.
• Integrate and configure enterprise subscription/paywall platforms (Zephr) and Customer Data Platforms (BlueConic) for entitlement logic and content gating.
• Build, secure and maintain custom APIs and micro‑service integrations handling subscriber transactions and core growth features.
• Implement personalisation and predictive logic to enhance user experience and revenue.

Required profile

• Data‑driven software engineer with a strong growth mindset.
• Proven experience building high‑traffic, customer‑facing applications.
• Ability to work at the intersection of product engineering and conversion optimisation.
• Experience influencing global reader revenue, subscriber retention and audience engagement.
