About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Java & Apache Flink Engineer to design and develop high‑performance, real‑time streaming pipelines and robust backend systems. The role focuses on building scalable, low‑latency distributed architectures that serve global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable real‑time streaming applications and data pipelines.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑tested code for complex backend and distributed systems.
• Collaborate on system architecture to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and optimal performance.
• Integrate automated testing and CI/CD practices to streamline deployments.
• Optimize streaming applications for resource utilization and throughput.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience, especially in backend or distributed systems.
• Proven expertise in advanced Java development and backend architecture.
• Hands‑on experience designing scalable streaming pipelines with Apache Flink.
• Solid understanding of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
• Experience with cloud‑native development and distributed‑systems practices.
