Senior macOS Developer (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

We at Coforge are looking for a Senior macOS Developer to join our remote team serving the LATAM region. The role focuses on building and maintaining macOS applications while contributing to a modern authentication platform that leverages AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain native macOS applications and components.
• Contribute to the evolution of a secure authentication platform, integrating SSO, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT and MFA.
• Implement Apple security best practices, including Keychain, code signing, entitlements and secure credential management.
• Troubleshoot issues related to applications, authentication flows, APIs and macOS environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, identity and architecture teams in an Agile setting.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools to improve coding, testing, debugging and overall productivity.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced English communication skills and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, cross‑functional team.

Required skills

• Swift and Xcode proficiency.
• Experience with macOS and/or iOS development, including SwiftUI, AppKit and UIKit.
• Integration of REST APIs and backend services.
• Deep knowledge of authentication technologies: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, SSO, MFA.
• Understanding of Apple security concepts: Keychain, certificates, permissions, code signing, entitlements.
• Version control with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with AI, Generative AI, LLMs and AI‑assisted development tools.
• Optional: Experience with LocalAuthentication, Security.framework, CryptoKit, Jamf, Microsoft Intune, Python, Bash or Zsh scripting.
