Senior Software Developer (Java, Spring, Cloud)

About the role

PCI Energy Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance backend systems that support the energy market. The role focuses on Java‑based services, cloud platforms, and data‑lake technologies, working closely with product and design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Java/Spring applications and micro‑services.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best coding practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and stakeholders to align technical implementation with business goals.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues in production.
• Maintain CI pipelines, testing, and monitoring to ensure reliability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and drive adoption of new tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily with Java and Spring.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Availability to work onsite in Lima (Tuesday‑Thursday) under a hybrid model.
