Shopify Frontend Developer – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

GOAT.Digital is seeking a Front‑end Developer with strong Shopify theming and modern JavaScript skills to work remotely for its growing portfolio of e‑commerce clients across LATAM. The role involves building new sites from concept to launch and maintaining existing ones.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS/SCSS.
• Implement responsive and adaptive designs based on Figma mockups.
• Write clean, semantic, and accessible markup and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Collaborate with designers and back‑end teams via Git, handling branches and pull requests.
• Maintain build pipelines with Gulp or Webpack and ensure code quality.
• Support multiple client projects simultaneously and contribute to ongoing website improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of front‑end development experience, preferably in an agency setting.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
• Strong English communication skills for meetings and written correspondence.

Required skills

• Shopify theme development and Liquid templating.
• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS/SCSS.
• Git (branches, pull requests).
• Figma to code conversion.
• Build tools such as Gulp or Webpack.
