Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Social Media Manager to oversee the content pipeline for a growing digital creator on YouTube and other platforms. The role combines strategic planning, content quality control, and community engagement to strengthen the brand’s connection with its audience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution for short‑form content on Instagram (Reels, Stories, Feed), TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
• Use platform analytics and performance data to drive strategic decisions and optimise growth.
• Identify compelling moments from long‑form YouTube videos and guide editors to repurpose them into engaging short‑form clips.
• Create image‑based content such as carousels and quote posts using Canva.
• Perform basic photo editing for social posts and thumbnails.
• Coordinate with designers on ad creatives and visual brand campaigns.
• Schedule content with Later and maintain a consistent posting calendar.
• Maintain high standards of detail and quality across all platforms.
• Engage with and manage online communities, including Facebook Groups and Discord spaces.
• Collaborate on promotional efforts involving blogs, newsletters and affiliate campaigns.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience managing Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, with proven audience growth.
• Excellent writing, grammar and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with editors, designers and content leads.
• Smart, quick‑thinking, highly organised and dependable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Later for content scheduling.
• Proficiency with Canva for image creation and basic photo editing.
• Familiarity with platform analytics to inform strategy.
