Software Development Engineer in Test (Remote, LATAM)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join a confidential U.S. technology company. This fully remote position is open to candidates located in Latin America and focuses on building robust automation frameworks that improve product quality across the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications and APIs.
• Create scalable automation suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure high‑quality releases.
• Increase automation coverage, reliability, and overall release confidence.
• Contribute to testing strategy and promote engineering best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as an SDET, Software Engineer, or Automation Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Java, or comparable languages.
• Hands‑on experience with Cypress, Selenium, and Cucumber/BDD frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of APIs, web applications, and Agile methodologies.
• Advanced English for daily collaboration with U.S.‑based teams.
