Staff Accountant – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

Goodway Group is seeking a hands‑on Global Staff Accountant to join its remote‑first finance team. The role supports month‑end close, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and financial analysis for a multinational media and marketing services firm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare routine journal entries and support accruals, prepaids, fixed assets and expense allocations.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts, investigate reconciling items and maintain close checklists.
• Assist with accounts payable workflows, vendor payments and employee expense reviews.
• Prepare schedules for monthly financial statements and provide variance explanations.
• Support audit requests and maintain supporting documentation.
• Maintain SOPs, identify process gaps and create repeatable workflows for recurring accounting tasks.

Required profile

• Strong core accounting experience with a focus on detail‑oriented financial record keeping.
• Ability to manage complex data sets and meet tight month‑end deadlines.
• Excellent analytical skills and a collaborative mindset for working with the Controller and finance team.
