About the role
Svitzer Perú is seeking an experienced Captain to command one of its tugboats. You will be responsible for safe, efficient vessel operations while leading the onboard crew.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the day‑to‑day operation of the tugboat.
- Supervise and coordinate the crew on board.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate tug operations, resources and scheduling.
- Prepare and manage operational reports and documentation.
Required profile
- Valid Captain or First Officer Bridge License (Rule II/2).
- Current seafarer’s book.
- Proven experience operating tugboats, preferably ASD‑type.
- Demonstrated experience leading a crew.
