Account Manager – B2B Sales in Pharma & Veterinary (Lima)

About the role

As an Account Manager for Discovery Solutions in Lima, you will be responsible for growing an existing portfolio of clients in the pharmaceutical, veterinary and laboratory service sectors. You will design and execute account plans, identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities, and act as a trusted advisor supported by a technical support team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand the client portfolio across pharma, veterinary and industrial labs.
• Create and implement account plans focused on growth, retention and expansion.
• Identify and pursue upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations and lead negotiations.
• Provide trusted advice to clients with backing from technical support.
• Leverage AI tools to optimise and automate commercial processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration or related field with sales/marketing training.
• Minimum 5 years proven B2B sales experience in pharma, veterinary, industrial or laboratory sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in negotiation, proposal development and closing sales.
• Intermediate English communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and data‑analysis dashboards.
• Desirable: MBA, knowledge of laboratory consumables/equipment portfolio, SAP.

• CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.
