Administration, Tourism and Hospitality Support Intern

About the role

The International Potato Center (CIP) is looking for a proactive and service‑oriented intern to join its Campus Administration Services team in Lima. You will gain hands‑on experience supporting guest accommodation, campus tours, and branded merchandise activities while learning best practices in hospitality and administration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the dormitory booking tool and ensure guest accommodations meet quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate logistics for guest stays, including room assignments, special requests, and follow‑up.
• Liaise with vendors to support the development and sales of CIP‑branded merchandise.
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and conducting campus tours for external visitors and organizations.
• Prepare informational materials such as welcome kits, guest guides, and signage.
• Work with internal departments (maintenance, security, catering) to ensure smooth campus operations.
• Maintain records of guest stays and contribute to reporting activities.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interest in administration, tourism, or hospitality support.
• Good communication skills in English.
