After-Sales and Warranty Supervisor

About the role

The After‑Sales and Warranty Supervisor will be based on‑site in Lima, overseeing all post‑sales support and warranty activities for Global Mining Equipments’ range of rock‑drilling tools and mining machinery. The role ensures customer inquiries and warranty claims are handled efficiently, technical evaluations are coordinated, and service standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full warranty process, from claim receipt to resolution, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Lead and develop the local after‑sales team, providing coaching, performance feedback and training on product usage and maintenance.
• Monitor warranty cases, analyse recurring issues and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Maintain accurate service records and update CRM or service‑management systems.
• Coordinate field inspections and technical evaluations at customer sites.
• Foster strong relationships with distributors, service partners and end‑users to improve customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to review warranty data, identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Proven leadership experience supervising an after‑sales or service team.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with customers, technical staff and management.
• Background in mining equipment, heavy‑industry machinery or related technical fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Familiarity with CRM or service‑management systems.
