Agentic Elixir Engineer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

FullStack is looking for an Agentic Elixir Engineer to join client teams on a remote, project‑based basis across Latin America. You will work side‑by‑side with designers and engineers, delivering high‑quality Elixir applications while leveraging AI‑assisted development tools.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate directly into client development teams and collaborate daily with designers and engineers.
• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful web services and API integrations.
• Develop and optimise PostgreSQL or other SQL‑based data stores.
• Utilise AI coding tools (e.g., OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI) to accelerate development and review AI‑generated code for quality and performance.
• Orchestrate agentic development workflows, validate model‑produced code, and integrate it into larger systems.
• Implement code agents that automate software engineering tasks.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and contribute to Agile/Scrum processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience building applications with Elixir.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to work 40 hours per week and take extreme ownership of deliverables.
