Area Sales Manager LATAM

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead the business development of GIS, Hybrid Switchgear and Dead Tank Breaker (DTB) solutions from our India factory into the South and Central American markets. You will expand the existing portfolio of LTB, DS and Instrument Transformers while ensuring strong coordination across regional and factory teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive sales growth for GIS, Hybrid and DTB products across LATAM.
• Coordinate with factory sales support managers in India and market managers in LATAM to achieve growth targets.
• Collaborate with front‑end sales teams and country market managers to promote the India factory portfolio.
• Maintain high data quality in Salesforce (SFDC) for the product pipeline, using Excel‑based reporting.
• Analyze customer specifications and lead modifications to qualification requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Required profile

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent; marketing specialization is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of sales & marketing experience, including 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of GIS, Hybrid Switchgear, DTB, LTB, Instrument Transformers and related connectors.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and drive results.
• Intermediate English; Portuguese or Spanish preferred.
