Associate Field Service Technician

About the role

Diebold Nixdorf is looking for an Associate Field Service Technician to join its global service team. You will work on‑site at customer locations, installing, debugging and maintaining hardware and software solutions that enable secure commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections, cleaning and minor repairs on hardware and software components.
• Utilise diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software failures.
• Repair hardware at the component level and adjust mechanical parts as needed.
• Configure, install and update software applications on customer premises.
• Execute IMAC/R tasks – install, move, add, change or remove equipment.
• Provide customer training on product operation and functionality.
• Complete service paperwork, schedule follow‑up visits and ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in field service or a related technical role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license that meets company fleet requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools for hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform component‑level hardware repairs.
• Experience configuring and installing software on customer equipment.
