Backend Developer (Node.js) – Build Scalable Services

About the role
We are looking for a Backend Developer passionate about building scalable, high-performance services that power mission-critical applications. You will design reliable backend solutions, develop event-driven systems and work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
- Build, enhance and support RESTful APIs.
- Implement asynchronous messaging workflows with RabbitMQ or similar technologies.
- Deploy, monitor and maintain applications on AWS.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews and technical design sessions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Promote engineering best practices and contribute to continuous improvement of backend services.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years of professional experience developing backend applications with Node.js.
- Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, Amazon SQS or similar.
- Experience deploying and maintaining applications on AWS.
- Experience building distributed systems or micro-services architectures.
- Proficiency with Git and Agile development practices.
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency or higher.
