Bilingual HHA Compliance Coordinator (Remote)

About the role

A home care provider is looking for a bilingual HHA Compliance Coordinator to join its growing home care team. The role ensures that all Home Health Aides meet compliance standards and are fully cleared to work. It is a full-time position based remotely, with Monday to Thursday hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST (45-minute break) and Friday hours of 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST (30-minute break).

Key responsibilities

• Review and ensure all HHA files meet compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Verify medical documentation, including physicals, PPD/Quantiferon tests, immunizations and other required clearances.
• Maintain and update caregiver records in HHA Exchange accurately and on time.
• Monitor compliance expirations and follow up with caregivers for renewals.
• Collect missing documentation from caregivers and coordinate with recruitment and onboarding teams so caregivers are cleared to start cases.
• Assist with audits and ensure readiness for DOH and internal compliance reviews.
• Track and report compliance status, expirations and deficiencies, and make sure all documentation is uploaded and kept in the system.

Required profile

• Prior experience in home care compliance.
• Fluent Spanish, spoken and written, to communicate with the caregiver population.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent, self-starting and proactive, able to follow up with caregivers and support operational and compliance goals.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of HHA Exchange.
• Knowledge of HHA medical requirements and onboarding documentation.
