Biology Expert – AI Trainer (Remote, Part‑time)

About the role

We are building high‑quality STEM training data for cutting‑edge AI models that tackle scientific reasoning. As a Biology Expert – AI Trainer you will design deterministic, biology‑focused problems that have a single verifiable answer, helping frontier AI systems improve their understanding of real‑world biological workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design advanced biology problems that challenge state‑of‑the‑art AI models.
• Create deterministic tasks with exactly one correct solution, reflecting authentic experimental or computational workflows.
• Submit complete, verified solutions together with any necessary data or code.
• Incorporate experimental reasoning, systems biology, computational analysis, or bioinformatics pipelines into the tasks.
• Use Python and relevant bioinformatics or computational biology tools to generate and validate the problems.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Biology, genetics, systems biology, computational biology, bioinformatics or a related life‑science discipline.
• Research or industry experience with quantitative or computational biological analysis.
• Strong reasoning ability and comfort with multi‑step scientific problem solving.
• Excellent written English and meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Python programming
• Bioinformatics toolkits (e.g., Biopython, Galaxy, command‑line pipelines)
• Genomics or transcriptomics workflows
• Structural biology or computational biology methods

What we offer

• Remote, part‑time contract (20 hours per week)
