Business Development Manager – Medical Devices

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of Medcaptain’s medical device portfolio. The role combines sales, marketing and partner enablement to expand our presence in tertiary hospitals and medical schools.

Key responsibilities

• Support all sales and marketing activities for Medcaptain products.
• Develop and nurture relationships with business partners, distributors and key opinion leaders.
• Deliver product training and technical advice to partners and end‑users.
• Identify and develop business opportunities in major hospitals and academic institutions.
• Track installations, monitor market and competitor trends, and maintain a database of opportunities.
• Coordinate sales action plans across internal departments to achieve revenue targets.
• Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual sales, and produce timely sales reports.
• Plan and execute marketing events such as medical shows, workshops, webinars and academic conventions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical device sales or marketing.
• Background in clinical medicine, anesthesiology or biomedical engineering is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical device products and the healthcare market.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (a plus).
