Butler – Luxury Guest Relations (Peru)

About the role

The Butler is responsible for delivering an exceptional, personalized in‑suite experience for guests aboard the ship. Acting as the primary liaison between guests and all hotel and marine departments, the Butler anticipates needs, ensures seamless service, and maintains the suite’s appearance and amenities to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and orient Retreat guests, explaining suite features, ship offerings, ports of call, and exclusive privileges.
• Serve as the guest’s personal point of contact, coordinating inter‑departmental communication to guarantee flawless delivery of services.
• Conduct taste‑testing and quality checks of food, beverages, and other amenities before guest consumption.
• Maintain the suite’s look, feel, and inventory, ensuring all items are pristine and fully stocked.
• Share guest preferences with other Retreat areas to enhance the overall experience across all venues.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of guest‑facing service experience in a luxury environment.
• Clear, courteous English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Professional appearance, warm demeanor, and strong emotional intelligence.
• Ability to resolve conflicts, understand food and beverage service, and follow written procedures.

Required skills

• English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
