Butler Manager

About the role

The Butler Manager leads a dedicated team of butlers to provide world‑class, personalized service to guests in luxury hospitality settings such as hotels, resorts or cruise ships. This role combines hands‑on service delivery with leadership, coaching and performance management to uphold brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of exceptional butler services to all guests.
• Fulfill guest orders, requests and enquiries promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct embarkation inspections of VIP suites and oversee in‑suite arrival procedures according to brand standards.
• Lead, coach, train and develop the Butler Team to consistently achieve superior service performance.
• Mentor the Senior Butler and prepare them for future managerial responsibilities.
• Meet or exceed brand‑defined performance targets and KPIs for the Butler Team.

Required profile

• Minimum two (2) years of butler or guest‑facing experience in a luxury hotel, resort or cruise line environment.
• Professional Butler or luxury service certification (e.g., International Butler Academy) is an advantage.
• Previous shipboard experience is highly preferred.
• Excellent fluent English (verbal and written) with strong communication skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a culturally diverse workforce.
