Chemical Analysis Specialist

About the role

ALS Peru, a global leader in testing and analysis services present in more than 90 countries, is looking for a Chemical Analysis Specialist to join its Geochemistry division in Callao. The division prepares samples and analytical solutions for exploration and mining, as well as offers a wide range of services for various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret results obtained with AAS and/or ICP-OES, ICP-MS
• Check the operation of the equipment under your charge and carry out daily maintenance
• Apply other analysis methods required by the project, coordinated with the supervisor
• Organize and distribute daily work to meet productivity targets
• Report results and meet delivery times for the client
• Perform other assignments assigned by your direct supervisor

Required profile

• Degree or Bachelor's in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (mandatory)
• At least 1 year of experience reading and operating AAS and/or ICP-OES, ICP-MS
• Basic knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001
• Availability to work rotating shifts in Callao
• Citizen or permanent resident of Peru, or able to obtain a valid working visa
