Collections Assistant

About the role

ALST is hiring a Collections Assistant in Lima to manage collections according to the company's corporate collection policy. The role covers daily identification of bank account income, updating customer receivables and following up on current and overdue debts.

Key responsibilities

• Daily identification of income recorded in the company's bank statements
• Update customer accounts receivable (debtors) and send the report to accounting so it can be applied in the accounting system
• Manage collections by sending bank statements to customers with current and overdue debt to ALS LS Perú S.A.C.
• Monitor the status of collections management
• Send the list of automatic deductions to accounts payable
• Control unidentified deposits and improper customer deductions
• Prepare client reports for blocking and risk control, and prepare the file for enforcement

Required profile

• Tertiary or university degree, in progress or completed
• Accounting training
• 1 year of experience in accounting, treasury or accounts receivable
• Willingness to travel
• Eligibility: citizen or permanent resident of the country of application, or a valid working visa

Required skills

• Effective communication, teamwork, continuous improvement and customer focus
• Planning and organisation
• Nice to have: Office XP, intermediate Excel, payment vouchers and SUNAT modules knowledge
