Concierge & Events Specialist (Shipboard)

About the role

The Concierge & Events Specialist is responsible for delivering an exceptional, personalized experience to guests aboard a cruise ship, focusing on Group, Loyalty and Concierge Class travelers. Working within the Guest Relations team, the role acts as the main liaison between guests, event planners, loyalty and corporate teams, and all ship departments to anticipate and fulfill guest needs.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for VIP, Loyalty, Group and Concierge Class guests, ensuring seamless service delivery.
• Plan, coordinate and execute group, loyalty and concierge events, managing all logistical details and stakeholder communication.
• Respond promptly and professionally to escalated guest concerns, demonstrating empathy and problem‑solving.
• Maintain the appearance, organization and stock of the Concierge lounge, loyalty spaces and conference rooms.
• Arrange personalized guest services such as transportation, restaurant reservations, spa treatments, shore excursions, floral arrangements, tailoring and childcare.
• Uphold shipboard standards of cleanliness, orderliness and the WAYS philosophy, leading by example in guest and crew interactions.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years experience as a Front Desk or Receptionist in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Proven ability to manage events with 80+ guests.
• Clear, courteous English communication skills.
• Shipboard guest services experience is an advantage.
