Construction Manager – WSA Projects (Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia)

About the role

The WSA Construction Manager leads the planning, execution and delivery of construction projects across the WSA area (Peru, Chile, Ecuador and Bolivia). This role is accountable for scope, schedule, budget, risk, permitting and stakeholder alignment for depots, warehouses and related facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead construction of investment projects including depots, warehouses, relocations, site start‑ups, temporary operations and decommissioning.
• Coordinate external teams, landlords, contractors, architects, engineers, vendors and regulatory authorities.
• Develop and maintain detailed scope, project plans, schedules, budgets, risk logs and execution trackers.
• Ensure construction quality, safety, stakeholder alignment and operational readiness throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage facility design, permitting and approval processes (architectural, MEP, fire/life safety, building permits, occupancy).
• Support contracting in collaboration with Project Manager and Procurement, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Oversee on‑site construction execution to meet safety, schedule, budget and design requirements.
• Establish construction governance, meeting cadence, communication structure and escalation paths.
• Facilitate project meetings, track decisions and follow‑up actions.
• Control project budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, change orders and internal financial reporting.
• Identify scope gaps, support vendor selection and manage contractor performance, proposing design improvements to reduce CAPEX.
• Proactively manage risks related to permitting, utilities, landlord scope, sequencing, budget and safety, and develop mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of construction project management for greenfield and brownfield logistics infrastructure.
• Experience with depot and warehouse construction fundamentals (flooring criteria, slab flatness, clear heights, column spacing, racking, overall functionality).
• Working knowledge of fire and life‑safety systems and related permitting processes.
