Contracting Supervisor

About the role

As a Contracting Supervisor you will lead the supplier partnership function that brings Intrepid’s trips to life across Peru and Bolivia. You will manage contracting operations, negotiate rates, administer contracts and ensure data accuracy while coordinating the day‑to‑day activities of the Contracting team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee supplier negotiations, rate management and contract administration.
• Maintain accurate contracting data and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate the Contracting team’s daily activities and support business growth initiatives.
• Build and nurture strong supplier relationships and identify process‑improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop a high‑performing, collaborative team.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in contracting, procurement, supplier management or tourism costing.
• Strong knowledge of tourism industry suppliers, contracts, rates and costing structures.
• Proven negotiation and commercial analysis skills.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, written and verbal.
• Excellent organisational abilities, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Experience working with databases and internal systems.
