CRM and Data Management Advisor (Volunteer Placement)

About the role

Cuso International offers a 5-month volunteer placement in Lima, Peru, starting in December 2026, for the Canada-Peru Chamber of Commerce project. The volunteer uses business intelligence, CRM, database management and data analysis skills to strengthen information management, uncover growth opportunities and support data-driven decisions. Spanish level 3 (intermediate) is required, and a Spanish resume and statement of interest must be submitted.

Key responsibilities

• Review the existing CRM database and identify duplicates, incomplete entries, outdated contacts and invalid email addresses.
• Research and classify prospective members and partners, build prioritized outreach lists and map markets and stakeholders.
• Apply consistent formats, naming conventions and categorization (sector, stakeholder type, department relevance) so data is usable across Memberships, Events & PR and Business Development & Education.
• Develop simple data management guidelines and give orientation to the internal team on ongoing data entry and CRM use.
• Support opportunity follow-up and take part in trade shows, events and institutional conferences.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Marketing, Business and Entrepreneurship, Commerce or a related field.
• Experience with CRM systems, databases or data management tools.
• Experience in data cleaning, validation and organization.
• Experience using tools such as Microsoft Excel for data analysis and management.
• Experience in market research.
• Open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada only.
