Data Engineer – Remote (ETL/ELT, AWS, Python)

About the role

Join BairesDev as a remote Data Engineer and design robust ETL/ELT pipelines that power data‑driven decisions across the organization. You will work with cloud‑based data infrastructure, data cataloging tools, and observability practices to ensure high‑quality, trustworthy data.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS cloud services.
• Implement data cataloging practices using tools such as Collibra.
• Set up observability and monitoring for all data pipelines.
• Perform data quality assurance to guarantee accuracy and reliability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Strong background in ETL/ELT development.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services, especially Glue and Redshift.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with data cataloging, observability, and data QA.
