Databricks Engineer – Remote

About the role

As a Databricks Engineer at BairesDev, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and analytics solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse platform. You will act as the bridge between raw data and actionable insights, ensuring performance, scalability, and governance throughout the data lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Databricks notebooks and automated jobs.
• Build and optimise lakehouse architectures with Delta Lake for ACID‑compliant transactions.
• Manage data governance and security using Unity Catalog to enforce compliant data access.
• Develop and maintain machine‑learning lifecycles and experiment tracking with MLflow.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide a high‑performance analytics platform.
• Optimise cluster configurations and job execution for cost‑effectiveness and efficiency.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or Database Administration.
• Proven expertise building pipelines and analytics solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
• Hands‑on experience with Delta Lake and MLflow.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
