Destination Specialist

About the role

Explorandes is seeking enthusiastic Destination Specialists to join its team. The role focuses on delivering exceptional, sustainable travel experiences across Peru’s diverse adventure destinations while providing top‑level customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Get to know customers to advise and create perfect trip itineraries.
• Maintain constant, fluid communication with clients throughout the planning process and during their travel.
• Produce accurate, detailed trip proposals and quotes promptly.
• Track and manage client files before, during, and after trips to ensure smooth execution.
• Keep organized records of communications, documents, and transaction history.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field.
• Fluent in advanced English.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and results‑driven mindset.
• Knowledge of Peru’s adventure travel destinations such as Cusco, Huaraz, Puno, Arequipa, Lima, Chachapoyas, etc.
• Willingness to travel to experience products first‑hand.
• Interest in sustainability and responsible tourism.
• Previous e‑commerce experience is a plus.
• Available to work in Lima or Cusco office, or in a hybrid arrangement.
