DevOps Engineer (Azure + On-Premise) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on Azure‑based and on‑premise projects across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver reliable, automated infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and scale production Kubernetes clusters on Azure and on‑premise environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Manage cloud resources in Microsoft Azure and support physical data‑center infrastructure (OpenStack, QEMU, Hyper‑V).
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible and Terraform.
• Administer Linux servers (Ubuntu, Talos), write scripts in Python and Bash.
• Implement networking, load balancing, VPN, DNS, and security hardening.
• Handle database administration (PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse) and storage systems (Ceph, NFS, S3).
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting with Zabbix, Prometheus and the ELK Stack.
• Integrate vulnerability scanning (Snyk, SonarQube) and SIEM tools (Wazuh) into pipelines.
• Plan disaster recovery and automated backups (e.g., AWS S3 Glacier).

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Proven experience with production Kubernetes, Azure cloud, and on‑premise data‑center operations.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work independently.
