DevOps Engineer

About the role

Deel is seeking a DevOps Engineer to drive automation and next‑generation infrastructure for its global SaaS payroll and HR platform. You will join a fast‑growing team responsible for the reliability and scalability of production systems that serve millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production deployments on AWS, primarily using Amazon EKS for container orchestration.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code solutions to streamline releases.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting frameworks to ensure high availability and rapid issue resolution.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot microservices, databases (PostgreSQL, DocumentDB) and related tooling.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system stability, performance, and security.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong background in cloud environments, especially AWS.
• Proven ability to automate infrastructure and manage large‑scale container platforms.
• Experience working in SaaS or high‑traffic production environments.
