Director, Credit Portfolio Manager – Peru

About the role

The Director, Credit Portfolio Manager will lead the identification, origination, structuring and execution of credit investment opportunities in Peru, overseeing the local credit strategies and driving growth for Patria’s credit platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead identification, origination, structuring and execution of credit investment opportunities in the Peruvian market, both USD private debt and local currency.
• Manage the portfolio of Peruvian credit strategies, overseeing due‑diligence, risk management and coordination with regional credit teams.
• Develop and execute the strategic plan for the local credit platform, working closely with the sales and commercial teams.
• Represent Patria’s credit platform in Peru for fundraising, roadshows and stakeholder engagement.
• Build and lead a high‑performing team and design operational processes for efficient fund management.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in credit/investment banking, project finance, ECM or M&A, with proven origination and portfolio management expertise.
• Deep knowledge of the Peruvian corporate credit market, regulatory framework and strong network with local stakeholders.
• Native Spanish, fluent English and proficient Portuguese.
• Strong autonomy, strategic thinking and ability to travel frequently.
