English Preschool Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated English teacher to support classroom instruction and learning activities in our preschool environment. The role involves assisting the lead teacher with lesson delivery, supervising children, and ensuring a safe, engaging atmosphere for young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Support classroom instruction by helping implement daily lesson plans, activities, and educational games aligned with the preschool curriculum.
• Supervise children during classroom activities, playtime, meals, and outdoor periods to ensure safety and promote positive behavior.
• Assist with behavior management by reinforcing classroom rules and guiding social and emotional skill development.
• Prepare and organize learning materials, resources, and displays to facilitate hands‑on learning and creativity.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, including sanitizing toys, surfaces, and equipment.
• Provide individualized support to children who need extra help or emotional assistance.
• Observe children’s development and communicate observations or concerns to the lead teacher.
• Support daily routines such as arrivals, departures, toileting, meals, and rest time, fostering independence.
• Model respectful, inclusive behavior to encourage positive interaction among children.
• Collaborate closely with the lead teacher and other staff to ensure consistency in teaching practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (required).
• Completion of the TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) training course.
• Prior experience working with young children in an educational or care setting (preferred).
• Commitment to safeguarding, diversity, equity, inclusion, and continuous professional development as outlined by ISP principles.
