ET Consultant – Investment Analyst, Financial Institutions Group (Lima)

About the role

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is seeking an ET Consultant to join its Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in Lima, Peru. The consultant will support the team in developing new business, executing transactions, and managing a portfolio of loans, quasi‑equity, and equity investments across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain financial analysis models for prospective and existing investments.
• Support the structuring of new investment transactions.
• Analyze historical and projected financial statements and prepare periodic portfolio reports.
• Conduct industry and market research to inform business development efforts.
• Monitor operational and financial performance of client companies, evaluate risk, and recommend portfolio management actions.
• Prepare documentation for internal IFC processes and ensure compliance with financial, environmental, and social standards.

Required profile

• Strong grasp of fundamental business concepts and practices.
• Ability to provide analytical, research, and professional support to senior Investment Officers.
• Excellent written communication skills for producing reports and documentation.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
