About the role

BairesDev is seeking an ETL/Data Engineer to design and implement data processing systems that turn raw data into actionable business insights. You will work remotely with a global team of top‑tier tech talent, delivering scalable solutions that support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data processing systems.
• Build and optimize data architectures for efficient extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost‑effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data pipeline issues while maintaining system stability.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in ETL development, data engineering, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and data processing frameworks.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and cloud‑based data platforms.
• Understanding of database design, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems and data pipeline orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of data quality assurance and monitoring best practices.
• Advanced level of English.
