FastAPI Developer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a skilled FastAPI Developer to design and deliver high‑performance web services for global clients. You will work remotely, collaborating with a distributed team of top‑tier engineers to build scalable, asynchronous APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Django or Flask.
• Implement efficient data models and manage PostgreSQL database interactions.
• Apply asynchronous programming (asyncio) to optimise service performance.
• Write unit and integration tests with pytest to ensure code reliability.
• Participate in deployment, monitoring and maintenance of services on AWS or GCP.
• Continuously improve API throughput and latency to meet production standards.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.
• Proven track record building web services and APIs with FastAPI, Django or Flask.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous patterns and modern Python (3.10+).
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL and RESTful API design.
• Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
