Field Service Engineer – Mining Solutions

About the role

Join a global leader in mining solutions and work directly on‑site at major mining operations. You will act as the primary technical liaison, delivering maintenance, upgrades and lifecycle support for FLS equipment while building long‑term customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, coordinating with Service, Sales and Global Specialist teams.
• Activate and manage Field Services Engineering, Professional Services and Sales activities to deliver optimal technical solutions.
• Oversee maintenance strategies and spare‑parts requirements to ensure equipment reliability.
• Identify opportunities for equipment replacement, upgrades, and consumable sales to increase share of wallet.
• Provide market and customer insights for retention and growth plans.
• Collaborate with Solution Specialists and Professional Services to drive on‑site consumables, service offerings and retrofit projects.
• Coach and support new Site Account Managers and Representatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years experience in the mining industry in a similar engineering role.
• Solid knowledge of thickening, filtration and separation processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage KPIs.
• Experience preparing commercial and technical proposals for mining projects.
• Strong passion for the mining sector and a proactive, innovative mindset.
