Finance Manager – Financial Services

About the role

As Finance Manager for Volvo Financial Services Peru, you will lead the full financial management of the market, partnering with the Managing Director to drive profitability, operational excellence, and compliance. You will be a key member of the local management team, aligning financial activities with regional and global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance, accounting, and treasury operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Oversee statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance in line with Peruvian law and Volvo Group IFRS policies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, forecasts and budgets.
• Partner with senior leadership to define business strategies, pricing policies and risk‑management actions.
• Manage liquidity, funding and cash‑flow, coordinating with Volvo Treasury and regional finance.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and continuously improve control environments.
• Act as local champion for IT‑related financial systems, driving digital efficiency.
• Develop and coach the finance team, fostering high performance and integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration; MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles within financial services.
• Strong business acumen, ethical standards and a people‑centered leadership style.
