Fraud Operations Specialist

About the role

PayJoy is seeking a Fraud Operations Specialist to protect the integrity of its credit products. You will monitor transactions, investigate suspicious activity, and help design strategies that reduce fraud risk across emerging markets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze daily transactions for potential fraudulent activity.
• Investigate reported fraud cases, document findings, and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop and implement fraud prevention procedures and risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to address fraud‑related issues.
• Conduct regular fraud risk assessments and provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on fraud trends and prevention measures.
• Stay current on emerging fraud techniques and industry best practices.
• Assist in training team members on fraud detection and prevention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in fraud prevention, preferably in financial services.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
