Head of Bar – Hotel Beverage Operations

About the role

The Head of Bar will lead the bar service within a hotel, reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Director. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality beverage experiences, driving consumption, and representing the bar across all hotel outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily bar operations and customer service.
• Ensure the bar is set up professionally at all times and orders are processed quickly.
• Develop original beverage concepts using local ingredients and traditions.
• Maintain compliance with Beverage Department SOPs and the Beverage Manual.
• Act as an ambassador for the bar, promoting quality and excellence.

Required profile

• Professional experience in a similar bar or beverage leadership role.
• High school diploma or relevant professional course.
• Fluent English; additional foreign language preferred.
• Strong customer orientation, teamwork, leadership and initiative.
• Punctuality, flexible schedule availability and a passion for service.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Internet navigation.
• Familiarity with restaurant/hotel specific applications.
• Knowledge of AHCCP hygiene and safety standards.
