Help Desk Team Member – Casual

About the role

Coin Street Community Builders are expanding their casual workforce to provide front‑of‑house coverage at the Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre. This zero‑hours position offers flexible, ad‑hoc shifts, including evenings and weekends, to support visitors and staff during busy periods or staff absences.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and direct visitors, answer and route telephone calls, and take messages.
• Deliver a friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable service to commercial and residential tenants, stakeholders, and other users of the centre.
• Support visitors according to the daily schedule and manage front‑desk enquiries.
• Provide administrative assistance, including raising maintenance requests and liaising with the facilities team.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Effective time‑management and organisational skills.
• Capacity to work independently and follow a daily schedule.
• Attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
