HR Services Assistant

About the role

The HR Services Assistant joins Mace’s HR services team, providing timely and accurate transactional support for UK and international colleagues throughout the employee lifecycle. You will act as the first point of contact for HR enquiries and help drive efficient, high‑quality HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Advice, administration and coordination of all transactional HR processes from onboarding to off‑boarding.
• Deliver first‑time resolutions while adhering to service level agreements and responding to first‑line queries.
• Maintain and update employee data in Oracle HCM, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Process documentation, system updates and support HR projects and initiatives.
• Utilise HR systems such as Taleo, Oracle HCM and ServiceNow to administer HR activities.
• Collaborate with HR operation stakeholders to understand local business needs and seek specialist support when required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR service processes and support net‑zero carbon transition goals.

Required profile

• Digitally savvy with strong competency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with HR systems and IT software.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in a similar HR or administrative role.
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proactive attitude towards personal development.
