In-House Engineer

About the role

Join a global leader in mining solutions and work directly on‑site at major mining operations. You will apply your engineering expertise to real‑world challenges, supporting customers and driving the adoption of advanced equipment and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers across FLS business areas.
• Activate and coordinate Field Services Engineering, Professional Services, Sales, and Global Specialists to deliver tailored technical solutions.
• Manage maintenance plans and spare‑parts requirements for FLS equipment, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
• Identify opportunities for equipment replacement, upgrades and retrofits, increasing the share of FLS parts and consumables.
• Provide strategic input for customer retention and growth plans.
• Collaborate with Solution Specialists to promote on‑site consumables offerings.
• Support the development and training of new Site Account Managers and Representatives.
• Communicate market price competitiveness and supply strategies with Global Service, Business Lines and Regional Sales.
• Perform scan jobs on main FLS equipment and work with Professional Services on on‑site support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the mining industry in a similar engineering role.
• Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams and manage KPIs with functional leaders.
• Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals for mining projects.
• Strong passion for innovation in mining and a proactive mindset.
• Experience working closely with both suppliers and customers.
