In-house Engineer

About the role

FLSmidth is seeking an In‑house Engineer to work on‑site at major mining operations. The role supports customers across multiple business areas, delivering technical solutions that improve equipment reliability and service performance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary customer contact, strengthening relationships across FLSmidth business units.
• Coordinate Field Services Engineering, Professional Services, Sales and Global Specialists to provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Manage maintenance plans and spare‑parts requirements for FLSmidth equipment.
• Identify equipment replacement and consumable opportunities to increase share of wallet.
• Provide strategic input for customer retention and growth plans.
• Collaborate with Solution Specialists and Professional Services to drive on‑site consumables offerings and upgrade/retrofit projects.
• Develop, train and support Site Account Managers and Representatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the mining industry in a similar engineering role.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage KPIs.
• Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals for mining projects.
• Strong English proficiency (intermediate level or higher).
