In-house Engineer

About the role

Join a global leader in mining solutions as an In‑house Engineer, working on‑site at major mining operations. You will act as the primary technical liaison for customers, delivering tailored solutions and supporting equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers across FLS business areas.
• Coordinate Field Services Engineering, Professional Services, Sales and Global Specialists to provide optimal technical solutions.
• Manage maintenance plans and spare‑parts requirements for FLS equipment.
• Identify equipment replacement and consumable opportunities to increase customer spend.
• Provide strategic input for customer retention and growth plans.
• Collaborate with Solution Specialists and Professional Services on‑site support, upgrades and retrofits.
• Develop and train new Site Account Managers and Representatives.
• Communicate market price competitiveness and supply strategies with global teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the mining industry in a similar engineering role.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage KPIs.
• Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals for mining projects.
• Strong passion for innovation and impact within the mining sector.
