IT Office Support Consultant – Talent Pool

About the role

We are building a talent pool of IT Office Support Consultants to provide end‑user IT services for IDB personnel across our offices in the Caribbean, Central and South America. Selected candidates will be called on when positions become available.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support for hardware, software, connectivity and training needs of IDB staff.
• Provision, configure and maintain standard workstations throughout their lifecycle.
• Maintain web‑conferencing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with networking, telecommunications, security and facilities‑related IT infrastructure, coordinating with local service providers.
• Support the rollout of new IT initiatives and act as liaison between local users and central IT teams.
• Document incidents, requests and resolutions in ticketing systems and produce regular reports and dashboards.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT support or related customer‑service roles.
• Proficiency in English and one of Spanish, French or Portuguese.
• Knowledge of AI and generative AI concepts and responsible use is a plus.
