IT Support Technician

About the role

Bradken is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) IT Support Technician to provide hands‑on assistance across its global IT systems and business applications. You will help users resolve technical issues, maintain productivity, and ensure reliable delivery of technology services.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, triage and resolve incidents and service requests for business applications and IT infrastructure.
• Act as the primary point of contact for end‑user support, providing technical assistance and day‑to‑day service.
• Perform routine system administration tasks such as access management, configuration changes and software licence allocation.
• Participate in testing, peer reviews and quality‑assurance activities for system changes and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate system documentation, support records and knowledge‑base articles.
• Proactively identify potential issues, collaborate with specialists and contribute to IT project delivery.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT or a related field.
• Experience in supporting business applications, IT systems or service‑desk environments.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical problems using a structured approach.
• Understanding of incident management, service‑request handling and user‑support processes.
• Exposure to application testing, quality‑assurance or system‑change support.
• Experience maintaining support documentation and knowledge articles.
• Strong prioritisation skills and ability to follow issues through to resolution.
• Professional working proficiency in both English and Spanish.
